It’s no surprise that the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown CPA Exam preparation for a loop. Testing center closures have forced many candidates to adjust their CPA Exam study schedules, seek NTS extensions from state boards, and, in some cases, ask for extensions to their 18-month testing window.
Fortunately, NASBA, AICPA, and Prometric have been rolling out a series of measures to ease the burden on candidates. Their latest update is in response to travel restrictions, which have prohibited some candidates from getting to their testing center. In an email sent on Thursday morning, it was announced that CPA Exam candidates would be able to sit for their exams in India in the upcoming months.
