The Surgent Income Tax School (ITS) is approved by the Return Preparers Office at the Internal Revenue Service as a provider of qualifying continuing education for Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Certificate of Completion, Registered Tax Return Preparers (RTRPs), and Enrolled Agents (EAs). This approval does not extend to licensees of Surgent ITS.

The Income Tax School is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
